NIYHA are a collection of stylish, family friendly boltholes. The seven contemporary self catering apartments are three star to four star graded (Visit Britain/ English Tourism Council) and command an enviable central location within the market town of Kendal. Our interiors have been designed to help you enjoy our fantastic surroundings, with leather sofas, contemporary art work, cream linens and towelling, thoughtful soft furnishings and a good stock of games, local information and guides to help you enjoy your holiday.

We are just a short stroll away from Kendal’s specialist shops, cafés and restaurants and a bus stop with routes serving the Lake-District (if you pack your hiking boots the ‘Lakes’ is bursting at the seams with good walks) If not in search of a mountain to climb then there is plenty of ‘wandering’ potential both in and around Kendal.
